Book a discovery call

Discovery call

Thirty minutes. No pitch deck.

A conversation about your business, the systems your data lives in, and what you'd like reporting to do for you. You'll leave with a clear read on what's worth fixing first, what it takes, and what it's likely to cost.

Or start with a message

A name and an email is plenty to get going. Anything else you add just means we turn up to the call already knowing your situation.

A rough list is perfect — it lets us do some thinking before we speak.

It comes straight to Sam or Andy, and one of us replies personally. No autoresponder, no sales sequence, no being passed around.

Before the call

Common questions

We ask about your business, the systems your data sits in, who produces reporting today and how long it takes them. You ask us whatever you like. At the end you will have an honest read on what is worth fixing first, roughly what it takes and what it costs. There is no presentation and nothing to prepare.

No. If you happen to have an existing report or a rough list of your systems it makes the conversation more concrete, but plenty of useful calls start with “our numbers are a mess and I’m not sure why”. Describing the symptom is enough — working out the cause is our job.

Yes, happily, before any detailed discussion if you’d prefer. Send yours over or ask us for ours.

Sam is in Louisville, Kentucky; Andy is in the UK. Practically, that means we cover US and UK business hours between us, and there’s usually someone available when you need a question answered rather than a next-day reply. Nearly all of this work is done remotely regardless. If your project has a data residency requirement or you need people on site, raise it on the call and we’ll be straight with you about what we can cover.

The call itself can usually happen this week. A Data Health Check typically starts within a couple of weeks — we deliberately run a small number of engagements at a time, which is exactly why the people you speak to are the people who do the work. If you are working to a specific deadline, say so on the call and we will tell you straight away whether we can hit it.
